Narciso Beltran Cruz

Narciso B. Cruz, Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away on January 19, 2019, following complications from recovering from a pneumonia. He was the husband of Rosario Cruz and the father five children and grandfather of 12 grandchildren.

Born September 15, 1940 in Manila, Philippines, he was the son of Juan and Cecilia Cruz. Narciso and his family resided in San Jose, CA in 1990 where he took on a passion as an automotive painter. Although, he had a true passion for cooking, he was legendary for welcoming all guests to the home and assuring that they always had plenty to eat and even food to take home. Narciso was full of life when he was in the presence of his wife, children and grandchildren who he dearly loved. His kindness, patience, helpfulness, and faith filled life were examples to all of us.

In addition to Rosario, his wife of 51 years, he was a loving father to Narciso, Jr. (son) & Dawn Cruz, Pete & Marilen Hernandez (daughter), Gerald (son) & Francia Cruz, Jorel & Charry Abalos (daughter) and Mike & Cecil Eguchi (daughter). He was a grandfather to 12 grandchildren - Deanna, Stephanie and Max Cruz; Jeanine and Ivan Rivera; Joshua, Kaitleen and Nathan Cruz; Adriana, Jaren and Samantha Abalos, and Chase Eguchi. A brother and brother-in-law to (late) Rogelio & Lucy Chongkco; Eddy & Mila Cruz; and Pol and (late) Erlinda Rufino.

Funeral viewing will be held on February 6th and 7th from 1 pm – 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held February 8th at 10 am at St. Victor’s Church followed by the Burial at Cedar Lawn Cemetery at Lima Family Mortuary at 11:30 am.
