Sergio Ferrer Nicolas was born on July 9, 1944 to Augustine & Jesusa Nicolas in San Carlos City, Pangasinan, Philippines. He had 2 siblings, Mercedes “Eves” Reyes, and Jaime Nicolas, both of whom he outlived. He is survived by his wife, Rosa, daughter Jessica, and son-in-law, Diego. He was known as “Lolo” to his one and only granddaughter, Isla.
He worked in the insurance business in the Philippines until he immigrated to the US in 1978. He carried various jobs throughout the electronics industry including Lightwave Electronics & Harmonic Lightwaves. Sergio loved to play Mahjong, sing karaoke, tell stories with friends, and play the piano. In his last moments, he was surrounded by his loved ones - Rosa (wife), Nelson (nephew), and Jessica (daughter).
