Virginia, “Ginger”, had 2 sons (Brian and Scott), 3 grandchildren (Nicholas, Rebecca, Amelia), and 2 great grandchildren (Rose and Gene). Ginger spent many of her years in Fremont as an avid bowler, and in her retirement years attended church daily at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Ginger often volunteered her time working with the church and even taught Catechism for many years as well at St. Leonard’s Church. Ginger spent her working years at Shasta Beverages in Hayward, where she was in the shipping department for over 20 years. Ginger is a beautiful soul who will be missed by all those she touched.
A funeral service will be held at Lima Family Milpitas-Fremont Mortuary, located at 48800 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539, on January 7, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A prayer service will take place at the same venue on January 7, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 6:45 pm.
The funeral mass will be conducted at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, 41933 Blacow Rd, Fremont, CA 94538, on January 8, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The committal service will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, 48800 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539, on January 8, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
