

He was born on January 28, 1926 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of Samuel and Clara (Sharpenberg) Bacon.
Arthur graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He served in the United States Navy during WW II.
Arthur was the owner of Regal Dry Cleaners, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He was a member of the Lake George Lutheran Chapel Church, Fremont, Indiana. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, and playing dart ball.
Survivors include his children, Arthur (Susan) Bacon of Columbia, Illinois, Thomas Bacon of Butler, Indiana, Stephen (Christine) Bacon of Coldwater, Michigan, and Sandra (Thomas) Crabill of Fort Wayne, Indiana, 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and a sister, Emily Bacon of Garrett, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances “Bonnie” Bacon, his parents, sisters, Geraldine Lichtsinn, Lorene Conrad, Elaine Pfeiffer, and a brother, Samuel Bacon.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Lake George Lutheran Chapel, 1540 W 800 N, Fremont, Indiana, with Pastor David A. Easterday, officiating.
Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 9 am until 11 am Tuesday at the church.
Burial will follow services at Wilson Cemetery, Branch County, Michigan.
Memorial donations in his memory are requested to the Lake George Lutheran Chapel or to Heartland Hospice.
