Barbara M. Disser

Mrs. Disser a member of the Junior League in Fort Wayne, the Angola Book Review Club and a past member of the Clear Lake Board of Zoning Appeals.

She was born Oct. 10, 1925, in Chicago to Dr. Carl and Leonore A. (Coonrod) Method. She married Edward J. Disser on Oct. 2, 1948, in Chicago. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2011.

Surviving are four sons, David and Ellie Disser of Houston, Texas, John and Cheri Disser of Fort Wayne, James and Chris Disser of Montgomery, Texas, and Peter Disser of Long Beach, Ind.; four daughters, Janet and Warren Ward of Columbus, Ind., Ellen and Ken Bisson of Angola, Karen and Ralph Nappi of Vienna, Va., and Sarah and Bill Bolger of Indianapolis; 29 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Chapel, Clear Lake, Fremont, with Father Philip Schneider officiating. Private burial will be in Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral Mass Friday at the church.

Memorials are to St. Paul Chapel, Cameron Hospice, Alzheimer’s Foundation, Clear Lake Land Conservancy or to the donor's choice.
