Carolyn A. McBride

Mrs. McBride was a homemaker.

She was a 1954 graduate of Garrett High School.

Mrs. McBride was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Angola.

She enjoyed fishing, reading, and crossword puzzles.

She was born May 31, 1936, in Garrett to George and Thelma (Case) Brown. She married John W. McBride May 5, 1956. He survives in Fremont.

Also surviving are two sons, John A. and Connie McBride of Pleasant Lake and Mike W. and Dawn McBride of Coldwater, Mich.; two sisters, Norma Jean Dodenhoff of Fort Wayne and Janice and Roland Vasconcellos of Bryan, Ohio; three brothers, Jerry and Barb Brown of Michigan, John and Dianna Brown of Indiana and David and Kay Brown of Colorado; three brothers-in-law, Rival McBride of Columbia City, Jerald McBride of Garrett and Steve McBride of Kentucky; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Beams Funeral Home in Fremont with Father Bernard Zajdel officiating. Burial will be in Fremont Cemetery in Fremont.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the funeral home.
