Dustin Tyler Longardner, age 35, of Montgomery, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Dustin was born in Coldwater, Michigan on May 7, 1983, the son of David Longardner and Wendy Billman.
He graduated from Reading High School in 2002. He attended diesel mechanic’s college at the University of Northwestern Ohio, in Lima, Ohio.
Dustin had worked for Big Tom’s Garage “The Shop”, for many years. He also served as a fireman for the Montgomery Fire Department for 9 years.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, and fishing.
Survivors include his mother, Wendy Billman of Orland, Indiana, his father, David Longardner of Montgomery, Michigan, two brothers, Casey (Justine) Longardner of Orland, Indiana, and Andrew Longardner of Montgomery, Michigan, nieces and nephews, Landon Longardner, Kylee Longardner, Mia Williams-Clark, and Caleb Longardner, his fiancée, Bobbi Jo Firestone and her children, of Angola, Indiana, a grandfather, Harold Dean Billman of Montgomery, Michigan, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Lorain Billman, and Carl and Martha Longardner, and an uncle, Kaye Longardner.
Calling hours will be held from 3-6 pm Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Monday, June 11, 2018 at Beams Funeral Home, with Pastor Phred Cain, and Pastor Fred Hamlin officiating.
Burial will follow services at California Cemetery, Branch County, Michigan.
Memorial donations in Dustin’s memory are requested in care of the family.
