Edward L. Grove

Mr. Grove formerly lived in Algansee Township, Branch County Michigan.

Mr. Grove was born September 24, 1922 in Coldwater, Michigan, the son of Mearl and Pauline (Bachman) Grove, they preceded him in death.

Mr. Grove was a longtime farmer, and also formerly worked for the Michigan State School as a supervisor and attendant for many years.

Mr. Grove was a United States Army Veteran serving just after WW II and during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Montgomery American Legion Post.

Survivors include two sons; John & Renee Grove of Stamping Ground, Kentucky, and Jerry & Linda Grove of Montgomery, Michigan; four grandchildren; Linsey Grove, Andreah Grove, Nathaniel Grove, and Mackenzie and Keith Hager; two great-grandchildren; Ariana and Cathrynn Hager; one brother; James Grove of Battle Creek, Michigan.

Mr. Grove was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Ralph Grove and William Grove and one sister; Imogene Grove.

Memorial Services will be held at 1 pm Friday December 21, 2012, at the Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana, with Chaplain Brendan McGroarty, Ph.D. officiating.

A private burial will be held at a later time at the Knauss Cemetery, Kinderhook Township, Branch County, Michigan.
