She shared nearly 48 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Mark, building a life centered on family, hard work, and community. Together, they co-owned Barry Florist and Greenhouse for 20 years, where her love for flowers and connection with others naturally flourished. Following that chapter, she dedicated more than 25 years working at Fremont High School, where she became a familiar and valued presence to students and colleagues alike.
She had a gift for bringing people together and was always ready to host a gathering, filling her home with warmth, laughter, and good company. She found deep joy in being outdoors and had a special appreciation for flowers.
Above all, she cherished her role as a mother and grandmother. One of her greatest joys and greatest talents was being a grandma to her grandsons, Andrew and Louie, who were the light of her life.
She is survived by her husband, Mark; her children, Melanie (Tim) Constantino, Robin (Sam) Guagenti, and Mitchell (David) Knisely; her grandsons, Andrew and Louie; her siblings, Sherry (Doug) Bressler and Denny (Pat) Palmerton; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Barbara (Foulk) Palmerton.
She will be remembered for her deep love of family and friends, her welcoming spirit, and the care she extended to everyone around her.
