Mary Ellen Day

She was born on April 10, 1981 in Kendallville, Indiana.

Mary was a longtime employee at Flint & Walling in Kendallville. She also loved working as a waitress at Steak & Shake in Auburn.

Mary was a kind and loving person. A wonderful mother and friend. She was carefree and peaceful person and she saw the good in everyone she met. She worked hard to support her family. For all who knew Mary she was the kind of person that would give you her last dollar to make sure you were cared for first. She loved her eagles, frogs, baby yoda, and she loved her sims games. She loved playing with her nieces, nephews and grandbabies. She will be forever missed and loved by all.

She is survived by her daughters, Dezirae (Brian) Kreps, Briana (Owen) Clark, and Eryeona Preston, all of Kendallville, Indiana, grandchildren, Thrain Clark, Evelynn Kreps and Orson Clark, parents, Jack and Minnie (Sparkman) Dean of Kendallville, Indiana, sisters, Tammy (Mark) Matthews of Muncie, Indiana, Angie (Terry) Targgart of Kendallville, Indiana and Dotty Dietrich of Fort Wayne, Indiana and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will announced at a later time.

Memorial donations in her memory may be directed in care of the family or to the American Cancer Society.
