
He was born on August 7, 1943 in Angola, Indiana, to Dean E. and Virginia L. (Harding) Salsbury, they preceded him in death.
Ned graduated from Fremont High School in 1961.
He married Darlene Conner on March 26, 1966 in Jacksboro, Texas, and they lived in Texas until 1991.
He worked as a builder and carpenter for most of his life. He grew up on the family farm, and continued farming during his lifetime. He also worked for the Lee Company installing bleacher’s for high schools.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene Salsbury of Fremont, Indiana, children, Joy (Jeff) Courser of Frenklin, North Carolina, Dina Miller of Montgomery, Michigan, and David Salsbury of Albion, Indiana, grandchildren, Brody Miller, Hudson Vice, Audrey Salsbury, and Addison Salsbury, a sister, Frances Orten of Fremont, Indiana, sister-in-law, Linda (Norvill) Berglan of Lubbock, Texas, and brothers-in-law, Olin (Margie) Conner of Jacksboro, Texas, and Harold (Donna) Conner of Bowie, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later time.
Burial will be at the Ray-Covenanter Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.
