Petra Rose

Petra was born June 17, 1964 in Augsburg, Germany. As a young teenager, Petra moved to the United States with her family to reside in Rochester, Michigan. She eventually moved to Angola, Indiana; where she started a family with Todd Rose. Petra and Todd were the owners of the Mad Dog Saloon. Petra then continued her career at the Red Owl Lounge as a bartender and manager. Her hobbies included shopping, spending time with her grandchildren and socializing with friends. She will be dearly missed by all and in our hearts forever; until we see you later.

Survivors include a son, Michael Rose of Angola, Indiana, a daughter, Cassie (Jordon) Trippe of Angola, Indiana, two grandchildren, Addilyn, and Connor, her mother, Helga Atkinson of Angola, Indiana, and two brothers, Manfred (Michelle) Lenz of Imlay City, Michigan, and Dietmar Scherbl of Indianapolis, Indiana.

A Celebration of Life and Benefit will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 1 pm, at the Red Owl Lounge, 5480 North State Road 9, Howe, Indiana.
