Scott was born on Oct. 3, 1958, in Lima, Ohio, to Jack and Mary Katherine (Spencer) Werner.
He recently retired from Gay’s Party store after 32 years.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa A. Werner of Crooked Lake, Angola, Indiana; three daughters, Abby (Jared) Diller of Angola, Indiana, Savannah Werner of Tampa, Florida, and Baily Werner of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his mother, Mary Katherine Werner of Clermont, Florida; three grandchildren, Jayla Werner, Jackson Werner, Josslyn Werner, and also a grandchild on the way; and a sister, Susan Leann (Michael) Osborn of Clermont, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Werner.
There will be private family services only.
