She was born on January 22, 1946 in Angola, Indiana to the late Charles and Ruth (Handshoe) Bailey.
Thelma enjoyed doing crochet, helping as a grandparent at Lakeland School, Coldwater, Michigan and playing bingo.
She formerly worked at Kmart and Walmart, served as a waitress, worked in hotels, and was a restaurant manager.
Survivors include her children, Shona Summerlott of Adrian, Michigan and Todd (Dodi) Summerlott of Union City, Michigan, grandchildren, Brittany, Devin and Stormy, four great-grandchildren, sisters, Marie Parrish of Coldwater, Michigan, Charlotte (Craig) Murdock of Troy, Ohio and Ethel Wynn of Coldwater, Michigan, and brothers, Raymond (Sue) Bailey of Coldwater, Michigan and Christopher Bailey of Coldwater, Michigan.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Bradford, Max Summerlott, brothers, Larry Bailey and Delbert Bailey and an infant sister, Mary,and a son, Paul Summerlott.
Graveside Services will be held at 12 pm Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana. Rev. Jon Bruney will officiate the service.
