

Tim spent the first years of life in Ohio, Florida, and Washington before moving to Clear Lake, Indiana with his family at the age of 16. He was a graduate of Fremont High School in 1976 and it was in those halls that he met and fell in love with his wife of 45 years, Kimberly (Jones) Tearney.
In his well-lived life, “Twisted Tim,” found a deep love for music and pursued a career in rock and roll. Music continued to play a major role in his life as he raised a family. He would often travel to Fort Myers Beach, Florida where he loved to spend time with family, fish on the beach, and smoke cigars. Paleoanthropology and Native American history were also subjects that he studied in depth. His family, friends, and life on Lake Minifenokee were everything to him. He had a close relationship with many that will miss him greatly.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly (Jones) Tearney, his son, Justin Tearney (fiancé Rachael Richardson) of Phoenix, AZ, his daughter, Karly (Tearney) Sinise, and two grandchildren, Bianca and Anthony Sinise of Glen Ellyn, IL. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Kathleen (Eric) Tyler, Pat (MaryFran Lepeska), Kevin (Lynn), Michael (Julie Cashmer), Bridgett Tearney, Megan (Darren) Zink, and Kristin (Timothy) Fee. Also surviving are his father and mother-in-law, Fremont and Sandra Jones, a brother-in-law, Fremont (Amy) Jones, sister-in-law, Hope (Robert) Skorupski, 19 nieces and nephews, and his dog, Suzy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Christine Tearney, of Clear Lake, Indiana.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
