Tonia Mae Carr

She was born on May 16, 1950 in Leila Post Hospital, Battle Creek, Michigan to the late Ira and Elsie (Claar) Garrison.

Toni graduated from Union City High School in Union City, Michigan in 1968. Toni acquired her degree from Ivy Tech College in Fort Wayne, Indiana 1984.

She worked as a Sales Manager at Trinity Home Center & Design in New Haven, Indiana for over 30 years.

Toni was an avid Colts fan and enjoyed the Jeff Gordon era of NASCAR. She was the reigning President of the Sage Gathering Herb Club. Mom loved the lake and hiking in Pokagon State Park with her grand-kids.

She married Steve Carr on October 3, 1990 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He preceded her in death on December 2, 2023.

Mother leaves behind 2 sons, Bryan (Lisa) Stiebeling of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Chad Stiebeling of Snow Lake, Fremont, Indiana, 2 step-children, Jason Carr of Vietnam and Jenn Carr of Vancouver, Washington, grandchildren, Jamison Stiebeling, Isaac Stiebeling, Marcus Carr and Orlando Carr, and a brother, Gary Garrison of Union City, Michigan.

Private family services will be held at a later time.

In lieu of flowers or donations Toni asks you to take a moment to hug your child, grand-child, friend and Kitty, and take a walk in the woods for a moment, an hour, or a day. Time waits for no one.
