Virginia E. Daler

Mrs. Daler was a homemaker.

She was a 1937 graduate of South Side High School in Fort Wayne.

She was born June 12, 1918, in Fort Wayne to George I. and Freda C. (Stimmeal) Hoehn. She married Joseph Charles Daler on April 17, 1937. He preceded her in death March 9, 1985.

Surviving are her children, Robert L. and Cloe Daler of Dalton, Mich., Shirley A. Daler of Angola, Robert and Carol Lothamer of New Haven, Steven and Vivian Daler of Angola, Michael and Judith Grubb of Angola and Kathleen ‘‘Kathy’’ and Wenn Knotek of Fremont; an adopted daughter, Patricia Treitch of Angola; 26 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Graber of Clearwater, Fla.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Bohn Chapel at Lindenwood Cemetery in Fort Wayne with the Rev. Wayne Berkesch officiating.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Beams Funeral Home in Fremont.
