Douglas Earl Ritchie

Douglas Earl Ritchie, 51, of Fremont, OH died May 24, 2015 at his residence. He was born August 26, 1963 in Cumberland, MD, the son of Richard E. and Mildred (Twigg) Ritchie. Doug was a veteran of the United States Army. He was also co-owner of R&S Builders. In his free time he enjoyed martial arts, was a 3rd Degree Black Belt and was skilled with martial art weapons. He was artistic, a fisherman and enjoyed playing the guitar and the company of his cats “Murray and Murphy”.

Surviving are his siblings, Rebecca (Brad Lauer) Hainline of Fremont, OH, Lori (Marvin) Pendleton of Millbury, OH and Alan (Linda) Ritchie; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents , brothers, David Seller, Terry Healey, Richard Ritchie, Jr. and a nephew Michael Ritchie.

Visitation will take place on Friday from 4-7P.M. at Keller-Koch-Chudzinski Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, OH. Funeral services will take place at 10:30A.M. on Saturday from the funeral home with Pastor Gary Click officiating. Burial will follow at Four Mile House Cemetery with the American Legion and V.F.W. performing military graveside rights.
