Karen Susan Bower

Karen Susan Bower, 63, of Fremont, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015. She was born the daughter of Calvin and Jeanice Olmstead on October, 23, 1951 in Fostoria, Ohio. Karen graduated from Bettsville High School in 1969, and married Michael Bower on April 15, 1972 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fremont, Ohio. She loved to work, and was a Real Estate Agent for Real Living Generations Realty. She also worked for Basic Refractories Inc., and for the Sandusky County Department of Job and Family Services. Karen loved playing with her grandchildren, spending time with her dog, playing online sweepstakes, traveling, cooking, and was a Buckeye fan.

Surviving is her husband, Michael Bower, son, Joshua (Ashley) Bower, grandchildren, Tannah and Canaan Bower, brother, Ronald Olmstead.

She is preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, Heather Bower, and brother, Gary Olmstead.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11:15 a.m. at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Clyde, Ohio. Pastor Joseph Lees will be officiating.
