

Marilyn A. Slack-Norman, 73, of Fremont died Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Elmwood Assisted Living in Fremont, OH. She was born April 8, 1944 in Fremont the daughter of Edwin J. and Mildred (Fisher) Binsack. Marilyn was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church a graduate of St. Joseph High and worked as a beautician. She enjoyed the company of her grandchildren, traveling, dancing, playing Bingo, Casino Trips, word search puzzles and having her hair and nails done. Marilyn was the “Lunch Queen” as her calendar was filled with lunch dates and outings with family and friends.
Surviving is her husband James Norman of Fremont; children: Daniel Ray Slack II of Gibsonburg, OH; Andrea Marie (Jason) Mattea of Chicago, IL; Erica Lynn (Craig) Long of Overland Park, KS; Christopher James Norman of Clyde, OH; grandchildren: Drew Allen Slack, Daniel Ray Slack III, Dawson Scott Lee Slack, Jason Paul Mattea Jr., Ethan Connor Long; siblings: Al Binsack, Linda (Dave) Kupka, Rick (Pat) Binsack, John (Rosanne) Binsack, Michael Binsack, Mark (Gina) Binsack, Mary Binsack, Marcia Cleveland; in-laws; John (Judy) Slack, Dan (Barb) Norman, Sonya (Jim) Barbour, Carol Hudson, Mary (Roger) Gilbert, Becky (Roy) Salzar, Cindy; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Daniel R. Slack on December 23, 1987; parents and step-mother Pauline Binsack.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Keller-Koch-Chudzinski Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, OH where Vigil Services will take place at 7:30PM. A Mass of Resurrection will begin at 10:00A.M. on Friday, December 15, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Michael Roemmele will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to The Lewy Body Dementia Association or Stein Hospice.
