
She was born May 13, 1925 the daughter of George and Estella (Freeh) Haynes. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1943. She married Herbert Morrison on May 18, 1946. Shirley was a clinical worker with the Sandusky County Migrant Clinic and homemaker throughout her life. She and Herbert were very involved in the St. Ann's Scouting Troop and volunteered for many, many years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed camping, the outdoors and her dogs.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Morrison of Toledo, and Thomas(Lisa)Morrison of Fremont; grandchildren, Andrew Morrison of New Jersey and Kristin Morrison of Fremont; brothers, David (Muriel)Haynes and Walter Haynes, of Fremont, Donald Haynes(Barbara) of Virginia.
She is preceded in death by husband, her parents; and siblings, James, Robert, and Betty.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, February 11 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church. Rev. Michael Zacharias will be officiating the Mass followed by burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
