

Albert was born in Atwater, California and was raised in Fresno. In his youth he loved body building and tinkering in his garage, passions he continued throughout his life. He also served his country in the Army during WW-II. After the war he worked as a Skinner in San Francisco & Fresno in Meat Packing Houses which he did for over 40 years. Albert was also know for mastering the art and skill of sharpening knives through his creation of his own "knife grinder" in which he was well respected by butchers in California and near states. He also taught himself to make knife pouches & steels. He was a Man of Many Talents.
Albert was married for 71 years to his love Harriett Costa who went to be with the Lord in 2012.
He was preceded in death by his Son-In-Law, Bob Fisher in 2012.
He is survived by his two daughters; Lee Fisher of Fresno & Olivia Alban & her husband Arnie of Deer Park, Washington. He was blessed to have four grandchildren; several Great-Grandchildren; and numerous Great-Great Grandchildren. Albert also leaves behind loving nieces; nephews & friends.
Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel, on Monday, April 27, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm.
