

Alicia was born on July 1, 1943 in Ixtlán de los Hervores, Michoacan, Mexico. In 1956 at the age of 13 Alicia migrated to the United States later becoming a proud American Citizen. Since 1956 she resided in Mendota California making that her home of 63 years.
At her early age of 13 she began to work as a Sorter/Picker in Agriculture, Packing Houses, and Processing Plant. She later met the love of her life Ralph Puentes Espinosa and were married in Mendota, California on December 4, 1960 and resided in Mendota, CA for 46 years later moving to Fresno making it there home since 2006 for 16 years.
Alicia was a dedicated, loving and caring wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother and a very hard-working woman but most importantly a woman of faith. She was a family person, she enjoyed getting together for holidays, barbecues, and spending time with family, laughing and reminiscing about her youthful years in Mexico and throughout her years of life.
She was very active at her parish Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mendota, CA. She was involved in the Guadalupanos Society, Retreats, Prayer Groups, Cursillos and helping at her parish.
Alicia is preceded in death by her son Jose (Joey) Cleofas Espinosa, her parents, Luis Gomesindo Carmona Rivera and Petra Rodriguez Rivera and her sister Evangelina Rodriguez Rivera of Fresno.
Alicia was survived by her husband of 61 years Ralph P. Espinosa, her son Ralph R. Espinosa, Jr., his wife Gloria Espinosa and children Anthony Lozano, his wife Laura Ortiz Lozano their children Anthony Jr., and Audrey Ann Lozano, Priscilla Espinosa, Ralph L. Espinosa, III, his children Michael and Presly Espinosa, her daughter Sonia Espinosa Olguin, her husband Daniel Olguin and children Hector Trigo, Jr., his daughter Ariana Trigo, Joel Trigo, Alyssa Trigo Testa, her husband Ruben Testa, her daughters Sienna and Galileyah, son Ruben Noel Testa, Daniel III and Joey Olguin.
She is also survived by her sister’s Leticia Vallejo, Julia Guerrero, Leticia Torres and brother Ralph Rivera and many nephews and nieces.
A visitation for Alicia will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at St. Mary Queen of the Apostles, 4636 W. Dakota Ave., Fresno, CA 93722. A rosary service will occur Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 4636 W. Dakota Ave., Fresno, CA 93722. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 3, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, 4636 W. Dakota Ave., Fresno, CA 93722.
