Amie was born on January 29, 1964 in Pasay, Manila, Philippines; the youngest of six children to Alfonso Del Rosario Ignacio and Emerinciana Gregorio Bansagan. She attended The Philippine School of Business Administration and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Amie worked as math teacher at Bacoor National High School, she was very devoted to her students that she later became a guidance counselor. On March 6, 1984 she married her soulmate, Romeo Felix; her partner and love of her life for over 37 years, until the time of her death.
Amie was loved by many, she cared for others before herself, and ensured that her children were her top priority. She was very devoted to God, a member of Holy Family Institute. Her happiest time is spending it with her family. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and having long conversations with her sisters.
On the day she passed, she was scheduled for her US citizenship interview. With her final minutes, she looked at the altar by her bedside that had the statues and portrait of the Jesus Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary. She then turned and looked at her family and realized that the Lord Jesus Christ had a different plan for her... to make her a permanent citizen in heaven!
Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her loving husband, Romeo Kalinisan Felix, her four children, Anne Clarisse Felix, Almie Anne Felix (wife Clarisse Ferrer), Anne Faye Noreen Felix, Roy Emmanuel Felix of Fresno, California. She is also survived by her three older sisters, Leonora (husband Rodrigo) Tabing of Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines, Nelia Marquez, Lolita (husband Edwin) Esnaola of Fresno, California, and many beloved God daughters, God sons, nieces, and nephews.
Amilyn Ignacio Felix had a beautiful personality; a warm and caring heart that will be missed by everyone who knew her.
