Ana Diaz de Leon Galarza

Ana Diaz De Leon Galarza passed away peacefully on the morning of July 31, 2025. She was born on August 24th, 1954, to parents Margarita Herrera and Isabel Diaz De Leon. She was a beloved wife, mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Up until the end Ana maintained her legacy as a beautiful, kind, generous, hardworking, and resilient woman.

She worked in the hospitality business for over 40yrs making lifelong relationships with so many co-workers and friends. Ana always kept herself busy and never stopped working up until the very end.

Ana was a devoted wife to Jaime Galarza and proud mother to 5 children - Junior (predeceased), Alejandro, Diana, Bettina, and Ivan. She was a wonderful grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Her grandkids are Adriana, Mateo, Elias, Mia, Levi, Ryan, Emilia, and great grandkids Olivia, and Gabe Jr. Her kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. She is survived by sons-in-law’s Nicolas and Roman, grand-son in-law Gabriel, daughter-in-law’s Christina and Danee and her siblings Tonio, Juan, Isabel (Chabelo), Micaela, Ofelia, and Socorro, and her predeceased siblings – Francisco (Pancho), and Juliana.

Ana lived her life building long lasting core memories with family. She loved to spend her time with family traveling, visiting the coast, traveling to different states, and going to her grandchildren’s events. She loved spoiling and watching her grandchildren grow and reach their milestones. At home she had a wonderful collection of plants she loved to grow. She had a great “green thumb”. She was always busy on the phone keeping the family of long distances close by catching up and showing her love and care.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday August 21st, 2025, from 4 – 6pm at Whitehurst, Sullivan and Blair Funeral Home – 836 E. Nees Ave, Fresno, CA 93720 followed by a Recitation of Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm.

Celebration of Life Catholic Service is scheduled for Friday, August 22nd, 2025, at 1pm at Whitehurst, Sullivan and Blair Funeral Home – 836 E. Nees Ave, Fresno, CA 93720.

Ana Díaz De León Galarza falleció pacíficamente la mañana del 31 de julio de 2025. Nació el 24 de agosto de 1954, hija de Margarita Herrera e Isabel Díaz De León. Fue una querida esposa, madre, abuela y bisabuela. Hasta el final, Ana conservó su legado como una mujer hermosa, amable, generosa, trabajadora y resiliente.

Trabajó en el sector hospitalidad durante más de 40 años, forjando relaciones para toda la vida con numerosos compañeros y amigos. Ana siempre se mantuvo ocupada y nunca dejó de trabajar hasta el final.

Ana fue una esposa devota de Jaime Galarza y orgullosa madre de cinco hijos: Junior (fallecido), Alejandro, Diana, Bettina e Iván. Fue una maravillosa abuela de siete nietos y dos bisnietos. Sus nietos son Adriana, Mateo, Elías, Mia, Levi, Ryan y Emilia, y sus bisnietos Olivia y Gabe Jr. y sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos fueron su mayor orgullo. Le sobreviven sus yernos Nicolás y Román, su nieto Gabriel, sus nueras Christina y Danee, sus hermanos Tonio, Juan, Isabel (Chabelo), Micaela, Ofelia y Socorro, y sus hermanos fallecidos: Francisco (Pancho) y Juliana.

Ana vivió su vida creando recuerdos imborrables con su familia. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con ella viajando, visitando la costa, viajando a diferentes estados y asistiendo a los eventos de sus nietos. Le encantaba consentir y ver crecer a sus nietos y alcanzar sus metas. En casa tenía una maravillosa colección de plantas que le encantaba cultivar. Tenía una gran mano para las plantas. Siempre estaba ocupada al teléfono, manteniendo a la familia a distancia cerca, poniéndose al día y demostrándoles su amor y cariño.

La visitación está programada para el Jueves 21 de Agosto de 2025, de 4 a 6 p. m. en la Funeraria Whitehurst, Sullivan y Blair, ubicada 836 E. Nees Ave, Fresno, CA 93720, seguida de una Recitación del Santo Rosario a las 6:00 p. m.

El servicio Católico de Celebración De Vida está programado para el Viernes 22 de Agosto de 2025 a la 1 p. m. en la Funeraria Whitehurst, Sullivan y Blair, ubicada en 836 E. Nees Ave, Fresno, CA 93720.
