

Annie was born in Fresno, California in March of 1925 to Ones and Ines Scarabello. She grew up in Fresno, attending Teague Elementary and graduated from Central High School in 1943. Annie married Victor Caprioglio on May 7th, 1949 and moved to Biola. They then moved to Kerman and farmed a vineyard for 49 ½ years.
Annie is preceded in death by her parents Ones and Ines Scarabello, her husband Victor, and her brother Vinto Scarabello.
Annie leaves behind her son Dennis and his wife, Eva and her daughter Linda and her husband Darold Hood. She also leaves behind three grandchildren and their spouses, Michael Caprioglio and his wife Adriana, Marianne Johnson and her husband Wesley, and Jerrod Hood and his wife Stephanie. Annie had eight great grandchildren, Michael and Alexis Caprioglio, Wesley and Anne Johnson and Caroline, Ava, Blair, and Kane Hood.
Annie enjoyed many things including spending time at the Italo American Club in Madera playing cards, Bocce, and visiting with the ladies at the club. Annie loved to watch tennis and golf on TV, however, she especially loved attending her grandchildren’s games, sitting in the stands cheering them on. In her later years she enjoyed doting on her great grandchildren.
Annie was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She adored her family and did all that she could for them. She will be greatly missed. Rest well in eternity Annie, you have earned it.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 21st, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns and Blair Funeral Home.
Rosary will be on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, Fresno, California.
Mass to will start directly after the Rosary on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, Fresno, California.
Burial will take place directly after Mass at St. Peters Catholic Cemetery.
