Tony was born on July 30, 1924, in Newman, CA. Tony was the middle child of the late Felix and Margaret (Scramaglia) Radavero. The Radavero family moved to Kerman in 1926. As a young boy, Tony excelled on the football field as a running back and enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing. Tony graduated from Kerman High School in 1942. Shortly after graduating, he entered the United States Navy and was stationed in Guam where he served as an Electrician's Mate Third Class.
After his service in the Navy, Tony returned to Kerman in 1948, and met the love of his life, Annette Matthews. They were married on February 14, 1950, and were soon after blessed with two loving sons. Tony was always very involved in his children's lives, attending every athletic game and Scout event.
Throughout his long life, Tony pursued his passion for farming. In his early years, he followed in his father's footsteps growing grapes, cotton and alfalfa. His focus then turned to almonds during the 1990's. His dedication to his craft was apparent through his hard work and enthusiasm, which he actively continued until the age of 90.
Tony was a lifelong parishioner of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Kerman. He loved to travel and took many exciting cruises with his wife. He was an incredibly accomplished woodworker, even making the crib for his youngest grandson. Tony was an avid sports fan and would never miss a Fresno State football game. During the summer, he fostered his passion for fishing and completing challenging crossword puzzles while spending time at his second home in Shaver Lake, CA.
The family would like to thank Felicia and Joan for the loving care given to Tony.
Tony is survived by Annette, his loving wife of 65 years; his two sons, Richard and his wife Jill, and Michael and his wife Debra; his two grandsons, Chase, and Blake and his wife Ashlee; his two sisters, Virginia Radavero, and Marie Delarm; and his nieces and nephews.
Tony will be remembered as a kind, gentle and patient man who will be truly missed.
