Bernie, my next door neighbor and idol...met him when I was eight, in San Francisco, 1946. He taught me almost everything I needed to know, and I taught him a thing or two. Bea, due to distance I just learned of Bernie's death, trying to call him. Please contact me at rich@storekstudio.com.

Dr. Freeburg was a kind, compassionate, caring doctor.  He helped me as his patient with quiet, assuring care.  A previous doctor had suggested a very expensive, complicated procedure for my physical needs; Dr. Freeburg whom a friend had recommended to me, sent me to a pharmacy to purchase a simple kit: it was $6.00 and provided the cure!  I will alwyas remember him.  Additionally, I'd like to share with his family how very proud he was of you and how deeply he loved each member of his family. He will be greately missed.! When I moved to Fresno in 1970, Bernie was recommended to me by my L.A. doctor. I stayed with him until he retired.  I, like everyone else, thought the world of him.  I was fortunate to meet him on a social level and to spend time with him and Bea at San Joaquin Country Club.  This is a loss for everyone.

Dr. Freeburg was my Dr.for 20 yrs and he was always so kind and a wonderful gentleman. I also had the privilege of working with him for 20 yrs in surgery at  St. Agnes and the Fresno surgery center. He was a great doctor and a lovely man. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.   .

Dr. Freeburg was a great surgeon, I loved working him very much and he was a wonderful person. My sincerest condolences to his family.

Bernie was a friend and neighbor for many years. I recently moved from that neighborhood. The last time I saw and spoke with him was when he was riding his bike down the road.....he stopped and chatted and then rode off. That's how I will remember this dear man. My condolences to Bea and the entire Freeburg family. He will be missed.

Dr, Freeburg was my doctor for many years, when I married 42 years ago Dr. Freeburg and Mrs. Freeburg, Paul and I belonged to the Porsche Club of Fresno, we became friends and on a first name bases! We had mutual friends over the years and connected at many social functions. In 1975 Bernie  provided the pathway for us to have a child, a baby girl, now 39! We always speak of Bernie with much love and respect. He was a special doctor and man, we will always remember his love and special care for Bea, the children and grandchildren, amazing wit, charm and that so very handsome face! Dr. Freeburg….my doctor for 37 years.  A wonderful doctor and a true gentleman.  He was highly respected in the medical community.  I also worked with him in surgery for over 30 years.  He will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers to the Freeburg family.  Dr. Freeburg was my Doctor and the very best.  I had the pleasure of working with Andrea for a few years.   My heart to his family during this time.

I am so very sorry that Bernie passed away. He was my former neighbor on Stuart and doctor. He performed surgery on me in the seventies and called in the nurses in his office to look at my beautiful scar! He was a very good doctor
who took his time with you, and you felt at ease and never felt rushed.
He came over and pulled a lot of wooden pieces from the back of my son Henrik after he took a fall against our fence before climbing up the stair of our slide to jump into our pool. Another memory is that I got to dance with him
at a big party at the farm of the Sumner's in my long blue home made dress, nervous that it did not fit quite well. I liked Bernie a lot and have a lump in my throat and some tears coming down writing this. All the best to the
