

Betty Bollinger was born on December 27, 1929 in Fresno, California. She went on to her next life on January 22, 2013. She was preceded in death by Husband Ira Bollinger, Son Matthew Bollinger, two Grandchildren Billy and Laura. She is survived by her five children: Gerald Bollinger and wife Ann, Ellen Winchell and husband Don, Ira Bollinger and girlfriend Becky, Grace Goodwin, Frank Bollinger and wife Rebecca, and her sister Eleanor Gode. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Betty enjoyed playing bingo, teaching many of her children and grandchildren how to play bingo. She enjoyed going out with her sister. They would go and do many things together, even going on a cruise together. Every year it was a tradition to go to the fair and get an egg roll on a stick and see the many different exhibits. She also, enjoyed going to the Fresno Zoo with her children and Grandchildren. Also, she enjoyed going out with girlfriends to their favorite drinking establishment, or as one grandchild put it, “the old ladies bar”.
She was able to attend different concerts with her children. Betty enjoyed listening to Garth Brooks and Elvis Presley. She even stood in line all night to get Garth Brooks tickets. She was able to see Elvis every month the last couple years of her life. In her life time she was able to see Marty Robins. She was even able to visit with him at the hotel where he was staying. Some of the other concerts the she was able to attend were: Pam Tillis, Ronnie Milsap, Merl Haggard, and many others.
