Betty Jean Chrest

She was born on January 1, 1930 in Cheyenne Oklahoma to Charles and Lorraine Ladd, and was married to Nicolas James Chrest for 50 years who preceded her in death in 1998.

Mom had a beautiful and loving life with our father Nick for 50 years. They traveled, golfed and had many many good and loving friends. Together they ran dad's business, Valley Pest Control and belonged to many clubs and organizations.

Our mom was an awesome cook! People raved about mom's food. There wasn't anything she couldn't cook from scratch.

Mom is survived by her loving son, Robert Chrest and his wife Victoria; loving daughter, Diana Rodrigues and her husband, Bob; daughter Debby Covey; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

A Graveside Service will be held in Fresno at Memorial Gardens, on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at 10:00 am.

A Celebration of Her Life reception will be held at New Harvest Church, 698 N. Minnewawa, Clovis, CA, from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.
