Billy Paul Anderson

Billy Paul Anderson 87, went peacefully to be with the Lord on February 7, 2022

Paul was born in Vian, Oklahoma on June 26, 1934. He and his family moved to the Central Valley in 1947.

He graduated from Dos Palos High School and attended Fresno State College prior to enlisting into the Army.

Paul's career spanned 35 years in the grocery business. He started as a grocery clerk, became a business agent for the Local 1288 Retail Clerks Union and retired as President of Local 839 in Salinas, California.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents. Hugh and Nettie Anderson: brothers. Avis and Allen; sisters. Georgia Bryant and Maydean White; his son. Steven Anderson and granddaughter. Jacklyn Aluisi.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years. Marcia Anderson; children Deanna Kisling, Don Biggs, Michael Anderson, Mark Anderson, and Cindy Norby and their spouses; He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

A funeral service for Billy will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 10:00 AM at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720.
