Her family moved to North Fork, Ca. in 1955. Carla retired from the IRS as a supervisor after 32 years of service.
Carla is preceded in death by her parents; and her oldest daughter Dana.
She is survived by her daughter, Jana Nelson; her sister, Kay Uzzell-Smith; her brother, Duane Uz- zell; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews as well as many dear friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Thursday, March 22, 2012, at 10:00 a.m.
