He is survived by his daughters, Julianne Rhodes Stone and her husband, Jeff Stone; Patricia Pringle and her husband, Ron; Colleen Rhodes; son David Rhodes; grandson Jeff Pringle and his wife, Jennifer and granddaughter Jennifer Costa; and sister, Jessie Priddy and Verda Lindsey.
Charles was a 20 year veteran of the United States Navy, serving during WW II, was at Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941 and was at the Normandy landings during D-Day June, 6, 1944.
He was a member of Pearl Harbor Survivors, Fleet Reserve Association, Calif. State Old Time Fiddlers Association, Fleet Reserve Association and the American Legion.
Graveside Inurnment Services will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 1:00 pm
