Charles Tarpley, husband, brother, and uncle to many nieces, nephews, and half the kids in his beloved town of North Fork, California, passed away on February 25, 2019.

Les moved to North Fork and begun working at the North Fork mill in1960 until his retirement in 1994. This was his life; the mill and the people of North Fork. He loved this town and said he would be here to the end. He got his wish. Les was the saint of smiles. You would never not be met by that infectious smile and happy greetings. Everybody loved this man as he loved them. He lived a solitary life with his wife of 58 years, Genie Tarpley.

Les was on this earth 77 years. He will be missed by all - those rosie red cheeks, his Santa-type physique, and that ear to ear smile.

REST IN PEACE OUR SAINT.
