Christine Ann Ferrare peacefully passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 91. Chris was born March 14, 1932, to John and Beatrice Zuchero in Pennsylvania. Fondly known as Inga to family and friends, Chris was a retired member of the Retail Clerks Union and spent her career as a cashier at Mayfair Market. After the passing of her beloved husband, Anthony, she became a sample lady at Costco, where she made many wonderful friends. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Italian Catholic Federation.
Chris was an amazing cook who enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and hosted every holiday imaginable, from Christmas to Valentine’s Day. She made everything fun.
Chris was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Ferrare, her parents, two sisters, her brother, 4 sisters-in law, 4 brothers-in-law and one son-in-law.
Chris is survived by her daughters Rhonda and husband Tom Weisz; Lu Ann Ferrare; Toni and Gus Jauregui; grandchildren Kristine Kelly, Patrick Kelly and wife Jen, Douglas Ferrare, Shawn Kelly and wife Amy, Tyler Sullins and wife Danielle; Ashley Sullins, G.J. Jauregui and Jared Jauregui as well as 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank DaVita Dialysis and St. Mary’s Hospice, as well as the home health team who made her final days peaceful.
