Daniel grew up in Tranquility, Ca, where he met his wife while they were still in high school. He was the owner of Total Care Smog Repair for nearly 20 years. For the past three years, he has been a stay-at-home grandpa.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Lupe.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Julie; his daughters, Sara Emerich and her husband Josh, Monica Baer and her husband
Jeff, and Alicia. He was also the loving grandfather of Andrew, Madeline, Vivian, and Samuel. He is further survived by
his siblings, Anita, Joe, and Manuel, as well as numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
A Recitation of the Holy Rosary and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul Catholic
Church in Tranquility on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Peter's
Cemetery in Fresno.
