as an adjunct teacher, I did not know Mr. Good well, but I liked him very much, especially when he was interim dean. I feel so sad when I think he is not with us. My condolences to his family and friends!

A great writer, talented teacher, a rare individual with character and more empathy and compassion than most. Say hello to Tony and Angelo, David.

I had the pleasure of working with David at Reedley College and,  for a short while, on the exec council of the union.  I always enjoyed David's very sharp wit and his ability to express himself so eloquently.  He will truly be missed by those whose lives he has touched.

I will miss the calm logic, warm friendship, and sly wit that David always displayed.

Dear Yolanda and Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of David.  Although I had not seen the two of you in years, I always remember fondly the time we were friends in San Francisco and Fresno.  David was always so kind and friendly, not to mention intelligent and interesting to talk to.  My sincere condolences to all of you at this time.

I'm trying to choose the best story about my colleague: When he stopped on the way home from work at the almost-empty Pierce's Park in Centerville and the guy at the other end of the bar asked (ridiculously, considering David's gentle nature), "wanna fight?" or the poem he wrote in which the inside voices of student and teacher come out (first thing I thought of when I heard about the current movie), or the time we both pulled up separately at the Art Stand in Minkler, and the artist at the desk asked if we were brother and sister (since we were both blond and drove old Mercedes).  To my brother-from-a-different-mother and his dear family, God speed,

I feel quite privileged to have known and worked with David.  He often provided such incisive insight, usually with his sharp wit, at just the right moments to help put things into perspective.  I still have those "what would David say" moments.  I will miss him greatly.

I had the pleasure of being a student of Mr. Good at Reedley College in 1998. I remember he told us to travel and see the world! Fortunately, I took his advice! Great teacher! Prayers for his family.

I was fortunate to work in the Humanities Division when David was the Dean.  He was always a very kind and honest individual and one of my favorite people.  My thoughts and prayers are with his loving family at this time.

David and I worked together at Fresno City College. He was a kind, good humored man with a passion for literature. He will be missed. I pray blessings down upon his family in this tough time.

I had the good fortune as Department Chair to work with David as my Dean. Always genuine and caring about others is what made him who is was. I will miss him greatly!

David was an incredibly good man. He was generous with his time and words.  I feel blessed to have known him as a friend. You will be missed.

Mr. Good, hired me to work at Fresno City College Humanities Division when he was the Dean. I also took one of his English classes. A very kind man, who was always there for you. He loved growing vegetables, he also loved cars and helped us with our 1978 Mercedes. I will miss his smile. God has a great angel right now. God Bless him and his family.
