I'll always cherish the days I spent being raised by such a loveing dedicated hard working man who was filled with so much determination , determantion to love us and treat as his own kids.He taught me what working hard and never giving up was like.How could a man so strong go so fast only the lord knows .I will forever carry a part of David with me .He was so funny to walking around acting out his part as if he was scare face boy did we watch that movie many times together , or the time he kept saying it macho time after we watched the chavez and Camacho time ,Or the days he would say chula to my mom who he loved so much .Those are just few of the memories I will forever miss.Thank you David for loving me and my brothers so much we love will miss you and forever will you be apart of my heart as friend a father and teacher .I know one day I'll see you again .Thank you for all your hard work .rest easy your with the lord now .Love Carlos .

Sincerest condolences to all of the Montejano family. I will always remember David's positive and upbeat attitude even when things were not going well. His smile and great humor always gave me a lift. David loved the Lord and I believe that the Lord didn't want David to suffer, so he came quickly to take David home. The Lord was David's shepherd. I remember the joy and excitement in David's voice when he talked about his "walk" with the Lord. I will miss David's kick back, cool style. I am so happy that I got to visit him in the hospital and pray with him.  He enjoyed the chicken wings we took for him to enjoy too. May your beautiful soul Rest in Peace David. You will always be in my heart.

Well let me start off by giving my condolences to David’s family I’m sorry for your loss.. it’s a loss for everyone who knew him he was a great man I’m happy to have known him for just about my whole life he was a father figure to me when I didn’t have one and I will always respect him for that. He was always Nice to me and treated me like I was his own.. There’s a few things I’d always remember first was his pet cat “kitty” white a fluffy he loved that cat, second was going to his place and jumping on the trampoline in his backyard and watching Gladiator and Rambo on repeat, Third was how happy he made my Mom always doing what he could to make her smile. It hasn’t kicked in yet that’s he’s gone! He will always be Loved and Remembered. He’s in a good place know and forever in are hearts.. Love you David you will be missed….

Love ..I remember this time where it was my birthday ..we were at home and the boys came over to celebrate with us...Love Carlos told me ..He truly loved you and that he will miss you so much..He remembers your times together back in a day.. He will always remember you.. My brother Ernest told to tell you this but I didn't see the message ..so I will share now ..He said ..if he was there ..he would say..David ..Thank you for being there for my sister..for making  her feel Happy..Loved..Sad..and even Mad..He would say thank you for when she needed you the most .He would say that it had to be true love to have put up with an Apodaca..lol  that's what he would say..Love throughout our years you took care of me say in and day out ..making life easier ..making coffee and making breakfast ..I loved your omelettes ..make me lunch and take me to work..Do you remember when we danced  ..when we went to the casino and I won that grand and the jackpot was $7890..on my last $20...how awesome that was..remember how we would joke in the truck and would bust up ..Well my love I wanted to share  a memory for you ..I will forever love you..the love of my life ....oh one more thing was my mom there I bet she was ..lol Hugs and Kisses love Me Jeannie

. One day in New Mexico I was depressed angry and just full of rage and Tio David told me that one day I'll wake up and everybody will notice that I've changed because the Lord is powerful and I feel like these are the days he was talking about. I was praying one day after fighting with my brother. And I looked up and saw the message on a car from the rehab homes and ever since then I have been redeemed from all the anger rage and hatred I had in my heart. The Lord has freed me. And I think of Tio  David when I see my change thanks to the Lord
