Dennis was a wonderful man. He loved his family very much . He was such great outdoorsman. I will miss him.

Dear Winnie, Dee & Sophia,

I respected and admired Dennis dearly and will always appreciate and remember his influence in both my personal & professional life. Among his many qualities come to mind first his always seemingly endless energy, zest for life, dynamism and industriousness. Dennis always seemed to have a plan and know what he wanted to accomplish next. He always moved forward.

In tandem with these admirable qualities, there are others that although less immediately apparent, were the ones that really endeared you to him. Among them - his immense heart, his constant giving of himself and his time, his appreciation for the details of life – not just the professional, but the personal -, his seemingly unending amount of advice, the always clear indication that he was there to help and that he wanted you to succeed. If you happened to be around him, at any given point in time, you just had to hang on to your seat – you were going on the Dennis train and it was always a fun one.

These qualities made him a paternal figure to many, and he was truly one to me.

I will miss him dearly, in the same way I appreciated him in life.

Gordon and I were so saddened to read of the passing of  your beloved husband, father,  grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  We have both been his patients for many years going back to when his office was located near First and Shaw.  Dr. Dennis was always so interested in our latest travels and where we were going next.   He even told us all the things we must do in Brown County, Indiana when we were there several years ago.  Our grandchildren were born near the time of his own so of course we always loved to brag about ours and then listen to him brag about his.  And boy could he brag about those two grandchildren!  He was always so very proud of them.  We both send our deepest sympathy for your loss and wish you comfort and peace.          Gordon and Diane Fake

I am so very, very sorry to hear of the passing of Dennis. Although we haven't been in touch a lot over the years, I've always felt that there was a special bond of friendship between us. I can remember when we were both struggling students at Fresno State and I remember he had me over for dinner and he made me home made rice pilaf. It was a first for me. It is sad that he is gone but I know I will see him again--- soon enough. 
I send my sincere  condolecences to Winnie and the family.  

I am so shocked and saddened to learn of Dennis' passing. He'll be missed as a colleague who always was very friendly and welcoming, as an athlete always encouraging others in their efforts to stay active, and as a friend to both my Dad and myself.  Prayers to lift up his family. Let those great memories help your hurting hearts. 

A Celebration of Life

Dennis will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Winnie, and his son Dee and his wife Sophia, and his grandchildren Dylan and Kali.  Dennis is survived by his brothers Jim and his wife Judi, Gary, and Dudley.
