Desmend Gabriel Rios

Desmend Rios was born on October 27, 1994, in Fresno, CA to his parents Samuel Lopez and Marina Rios. He was the first of nine children, Relyti Rios, Noah Rios, Samuel Lopez Jr, Julias Amador, Sirena Lopez, Josiah Amador, Autumn Lopez, and Sammie Lopez.

Desmend was a Sunnyside High school graduate, class of 2012, and attended Fresno City College. He was a bright kid with a bright future ahead of him. He loved life, his family, friends, his job at Taco Bell, and his car. Desmend was quiet but always had a smile on his face.

Desmend was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ricardo "Rick" Rios and Dolores Garza.

He is survived by his parents; brothers and sisters; paternal grandparents, Elizabeth Cervantez and Carlos Lopez; Godparents, Tony Rios and Dolores Gonzalez; and fiancée, Monica Castillo. He will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Tuesday, October 7, 2014, from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at Adventure Community Church, on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at 11:00 a.m.
