

Diana Mock, a dedicated communications professional and community leader, passed away on September 2, 2025, in Fresno, California. She was 72 years old.
Born on March 10, 1953, in San Luis Obispo, California, Diana pursued a life marked by purpose, service, and excellence. Her academic journey began at California State University, Fresno, where she earned her bachelor's degree. She later continued her education at Fresno Pacific University (FPU), obtaining a master's degree that would further shape her impactful career.
Diana's professional life was distinguished by her leadership in the fields of communications and public relations. She served as associate vice president of communications and marketing at FPU where her work helped shape the institution’s voice and outreach. Prior to her tenure at FPU, she worked at respected regional advertising and public relations firms. In addition to these roles, Diana also owned and operated a writing and consulting business, offering her expertise to clients across the region.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Diana was deeply committed to serving her community. She was actively involved with several area organizations, including the Community Food Bank and the Fresno Stewardship Initiative. Her contributions reflected a lifelong dedication to improving the lives of others through both action and advocacy.
Faith played a central role in Diana’s life. She was an engaged member of Northpointe Community Church in Fresno, where she participated on the worship and leadership team. Her presence there was marked by devotion and a spirit of encouragement that touched many within the congregation.
Diana is survived by her husband Rob Mock; her daughter Megan Mock; and her brother Bill Bates. Her family remembers her as a source of strength and inspiration whose legacy will continue to resonate through their lives.
