Dolores Lucille Prevost, born on May 19, 1933, returned home to her Lord on November 9, 2025, at the age of 92. She was known for her faithful, devoted, and loyal nature throughout her life. Dolores dedicated 25 years of her career as a cosmetologist in the beauty industry, where she enjoyed making others feel and look their best.
She was married for 46 years to her loving husband, Marvin. Dolores is survived by her nieces, Marshella Hunt of Visalia, California, Deann Scalf of Gilbert, Arizona, Christina Dakin of Fresno, California, Leslie Searcy of Tulare, California, as well as her nephews Brian Searcy, of Salinas, California, Damon Searcy, of Torrance, California, and Marlon Searcy, of Fresno, California, all who cherished her deeply.
Dolores was preceded in death by her brothers Scott Searcy, of Tulare, California, and Jimmy Searcy, of Tulare, California, and her sister Ramona Wilde, of Fresno, California.
Her personal life was marked by her unwavering faith, as she was a devout servant of her Lord for 71 years. She found joy and fulfillment in her bible study, which was a meaningful part of her life.
Dolores was also very involved within her church community where she enjoyed being of service and contributing. Her commitment to her faith and community was a testament to her character and the positive impact she had on those around her.
Dolores Prevost will be remembered fondly by all who knew her, for her dedication to her family, her faith, and her community.
A graveside service will be held at Belmont Memorial Park, located at 201 N. Teilman Avenue, Fresno, CA, on November 25, 2025, starting at 11:00 am.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Dolores on January 24, 2026, at 10 am, at the First Missionary Baptist Church located at 1195 E. Shephard Avenue, in Fresno, California.
