Doreen Beth Goshgarian, a beloved mother, wife and sister, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2024, at the age of 69. Born on October 6, 1954, in Fresno, California to Mary and Ozzie Goshgarian. Doreen graduated from Herbert Hoover High School and then went on to graduate from California State University Fresno.
Doreen was an inspirational and devoted teacher in the public school system. She worked as a passionate and creative teacher for over 30 years.
Doreen is preceded in death by her parents Mary and Ozzie Goshgarian, and her daughter Amanda Jacquez.
Doreen is survived by her daughter Monica Jacquez, Richie Lopez, grandsons Aiden and Atreyu, and her sister Pamela Goshgarian along with any relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop, Lighthouse Recovery Fresno, and the American Heart Association.
Doreen’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched and in the beautiful memories she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Services for Doreen will be held at Pilgrim Armenian Congregational Church 3673 N First St, Fresno, CA 93726 on October 26, 2024, at 11:00 am, a Celebration of Life with hors d'oeuvres and refreshments, to follow in the church hall.
