Eddie was raised in Fresno, California and graduated from San Joaquin Memorial High School. He went on to graduate from California State University, Fresno. He worked as a General Building Contractor, Construction Manager and Project Engineer for over 25 years.
His greatest joy were his two sons Adam and Aaron Lopez. Eddie was an avid 49er and Giants fan and enjoyed visits to the bay area. He also was a loved father, brother, nephew and son who loved to make those around him laugh.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Carmelo and Janie Lopez; aunt, Katherine Saucedo; uncle, Ramiro Saucedo; and aunt, Eva Jioia.
He is survived by his sons, Adam Lopez and Aaron Lopez; sister, Sylvia Lopez; niece, Sofia Martinez; sister, Anita Ricardo; brother - in -law, Ralph Ricardo; niece, Raquel Ricardo-Pineda and her husband Cris Pineda; uncle, Jess Saucedo; and many relatives in Fresno, and San Antonio, Texas.
A Memorial Service will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns and Blair Funeral Home, 1525 E. Saginaw, Fresno, Ca. Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
