She leaves behind her son, Craig L. Streit (Kimm); and daughter, Sandra G. Bartlett; along with four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Ellen retired from Social Security after 25 years of service. She also previously worked at Streit’s Drapery Shop in Fresno, CA. She and Preston were active members of People’s Church.
Hobbies included gardening her flowers, painting, rock collecting at Shaver Lake, seashell collecting at Cayucos, and serving in women’s ministries at church.
Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
A Funeral Service celebrating her life will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Belmont Memorial Park.
