Elsie Marie James, age 82, was born April 14, 1931 in Phoenix Arizona and passed away May 13, 2013 She lived most of her life in the Salinas area and moved to Fresno where she lived out the later part of her life. She was a truck broker and a waitress. Elsie loved music, loved to dance, and playing Bridge
She is preceded in death by her husband Darrell F. James; a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Strong, a son, David Duane Blakeman and two step-children, Karen James and Jeffrey James
She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Sylla and Pamela Blakeman; step-children, Richard and David James; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
