

Evelyn was born in Tulare, California on December 2,1918 to Nels and Elsie Lange. They later moved to Fresno where she, attended school at Winchell Grammar School, Hamilton Junior High School and Fresno High School.
As a young woman she worked at Woolworths. During World War I I she worked at Rohar Aircraft in Fresno. She was a "Rosie the Riveter" making parts for the P51 plane that was used during the war. She then worked at Walter Smith's Clothing Store.
She married Warren (Doc) Price on December 14, 1946 in Tulare, California. She traveled with him thru out the western states, making a home for him wherever the construction jobs would take him. She was his devoted and beloved wife until his death in 1997. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She enjoyed anytime she was able to spend with all of them. She was a caring person who always put others needs ahead of her own. She was a gifted seamstress and enjoyed making clothing for her step sons and grandchildren. She was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband Warren; sisters Lois and Helen; brothers Miles and Warren and her stepson Lynn Price.
Evelyn is survived by her brother Dennis Lange and his wife Vicky of Fresno, stepson Ronald Price and wife Mary of Sonora, daughter-in-law Louisa Price of Grass Valley, 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
