Dr. Fe Aquino Mama Tabaquin

Dr. Fe Aquino Tabaquin "Mama" Passed away Wednesday August 19, 2010 surrounded by her loved ones. Mama was born on December 21, 1928, attended the University of East where she earned her Doctorate Degree in Dental Medicine. She was a practicing Dentist in the Philippines before she came to the U.S. in 1966.

Mama later brought her three children in 1969. Mama Studied at USF and became a Cytologist, she was also a registered Dental Hygienist and worked both jobs at the same time.

Mama was the youngest of seven children. She is survived by her sister, Susana, brother, Leonardo. Daughters; Cynthia de Leon, Aileen Leyva and her husband Geo and son Rufino Tabaquin Paguio and his wife Cathy. Grandchildren; Christopher, Nicole and her husband Ash, Carleen, Whitney, Jorden, Breanne, Jennifer, Ashley, Kayla and Greg. Great grandchildren; LeeAnn, Christian and Jayden.

Mama instilled in her children the value of education and hard work to achieve success in their lives. She was a pillar of strength, courage and patience whose legacy of loving her family will continue with those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 24, 2010 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Whitehurst, Sullivan Burns and Blair Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m., with interment at Belmont Memorial Park, Fresno, California.
