Francisco “Pancho” Soria passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at the age of 74. He was born on October 4, 1941 to Santiago and Juliana Soria in Sinaloa, Mexico. On April 24, 1971, he married the love of his life, JoAnn Marie Lucchesi; they have three daughters: Julie, Matilda, and Marie Soria.
Francisco was a laborer all of his life. When he immigrated to Fresno he was employed as a field worker and farm laborer, and in 1973 he was employed as a construction worker. Although he retired in 1999, he still remained active -- engaging in landscaping and field work.
Francisco enjoyed gardening, fishing, and telling jokes and laughing with his friends and family. He was the kind of man whose courage and bravery touched many lives. He was a hard working father, dedicated husband, and loyal friend. He sacrificed during his whole life so that his family would be well provided for and he did this without complaint. Francisco will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
