Frank Anthony Rosiles, a devoted father, proud veteran, and compassionate servant of others, passed away leaving behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and unwavering positivity. Born the only son between three sisters. Frank was shaped in many ways by the deep love he held for his mother, a love that helped nurture the compassion he carried throughout his life.
In 1967, Frank answered the call to serve his country, joining the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He completed paratrooper school and served with honor, earning an honorable discharge. His courage in service became a foundation of the strength and resilience he showed throughout his life.
After returning home, Frank worked in heavy equipment sales and electrical work, but found his true purpose in helping others. As a bilingual vocational rehabilitation specialist, he dedicated himself to supporting clients in pursuing education, employment, and personal growth. He believed deeply in the potential of every person and took joy in lifting others up.
Frank lived many years in San Francisco before returning to Fresno around 1990. With steadfast faith, he continued his journey of healing and service, remaining active in NA and AA and keeping God close in daily prayer. At the age of 50, he fulfilled a lifelong dream by graduating from Fresno State with a degree in social work—an achievement that reflected his courage and his heart for service.
He was a kid at heart, a lover of music and of all mankind, and someone who never hesitated to help. His words were a constant source of strength to those around him: “Always think positive and positive things will happen in your life.” He also reminded us, “We cannot control the wind, but we can adjust the sails.”
Frank is survived by his daughter, Briana Rosiles, whose devoted care and loving presence were a comfort to him, especially in his final moments.
His memory will remain a blessing and an inspiration to all who knew him. May he rest in God’s eternal peace.
